Add your favorite RSS feeds to your GMail!

Do you have a GMail account? You can see updates from your favorite websites (using their RSS feeds) at the top of your messages list, at GMail screen.

Go to "Settings" page, click "Web Clips" tab and add your feed! See screenshots:



Add the feed URL, click "Search", then click "Add" button at side of the channel name. After this, updates from this feed will be showed at GMail screen, and will be interpolated with advertisements:

Have a blog at Blogger.com with a custom domain name!

Do you want a free blog with yourname.com address? Blogger (of Google) allows this!

Just go to settings of your blog, click "Publishing". Select a custom domain, then click "Switch to advanced settings", if you already has a domain name.

Type exactly the domain wanted, like "blog.yourname.com". See a test:



After you do this, go to administration panel of your domain, then add a CNAME alias that redirect to "gds.google.com." (yes, with a dot at the end). Use this informations:

Host name: test (the subdomain name, it can be "www", too)
Server: gds.google.com. (don't forget the dot at the end!)
Type: CNAME
MX: 10 (or keep default)

When saving your settings, your blog will be at new address. But Blogger don't leave your readers behind! Your blogspot address will redirect to new domain.

If you want, create a URL forwarding from www.yourdomain.com to your new blog address, and/or the yourdomain.com (without www). Blogger can assign only one address to your blog. Others can be used with free URL forwarding. For more help, please contact your domain register support.

Core FTP Lite, a simple and fast FTP client

If you need a FTP client for Windows which supports SSH2, I recommend to you CoreFTP. I tried some troubles with other clients, but no with CoreFTP. Download it at:

There is a lite version, freeware, and a pro. I have used for a long time the lite version, and I have no reclamations!
